Memoir Programs
The Memoir Project provides opportunities for people of all ages tell stories from their lives. Taught by skilled teachers, these classes help students recall significant moments, find meaning in those moments and, finally, put their thoughts on paper.

Spirit and Place Festival 2020
This year, the Indiana Writers Center, Dance Kaleidoscope, Jewish Community Center, and Indianapolis Public Library are partnering to present, “What Was and Will Be,” a Spirit and Place program recognizing that each of us felt the weight of this moment from a unique perspective and to build unity through our shared history.
Performances by Dance Kaleidoscope are inspired by written works from writers in the community. These performances are available to view online through November 22, 2020. Watch the virtual performance.

The World We Live(d) In Anthology
This anthology of work by poets from Central Indiana was created as part of our Spirit and Place Project which paired carefully curated written work with interpretations by Dance Kaleidoscope. Through this anthology we hope to explore the evolution of our community’s ideas, values, and revolutionary thoughts.
